Annually on the feast day of St. Joseph, Savio College holds its much anticipated Bikeathlon event that draws crowds of students and parents together to either cycle or walk for fun. It is not a competition but simply a wonderful activity, that involves a lot of logistical planning, that caters for all the family. It has been going on for over 20 years.
Initially the weather was not very favourable and it risked dampening the whole event due to the impending rain however we marched or cycled on and thankfully the clouds cleared and the sun shone brilliantly on all the 250 participants.
A big thank you and well done to our Physical Education teacher, Mr. Johann Zammit and to all helpers who made this event a truly Salesian and wonderful occasion for one and all.
