On Thursday 26th we had a visit by a delegation from the Table Tennis Academy Malta. The delegation was led by sevral times Table Tennis Malta champion, Mr. Mario Genovese. Mr. Genovese spoke about the various advantages of this sport. The students were then treated to a spectacular exhibition match between members of the delgation and were themselves involved in some matches.
Savio College will welcome prospective students for scholastic year 2012-2013 during an Open Day on Sunday, 1st April 2012 from 09.00 – 13.00. At 09.00 and at 11.00 sharp there will be an introductory video about the College screened in our hall. Kindly note that from 10.00 to 10.30 there will also be a Robotics competition going on. Our students will be happy to show you around so that you can see our school, and all that we have to offer. We look forward to welcoming you at Savio.
In the Resources section under Timetables please find the School Leaving and Half-Yearly Examinations timetables. Notices to Form 5 parents regarding these exams have been sent by email and also as an Announcement in MySchool. Form 1 - 4 parents please note that there has been a some changes from the dates we sent you in the last circular. One change is that school will finish at 12.30 from Tuesday 14th till Friday 24th February both days inclusive. Another change is that Form 3 and 4 students start their exams on Tuesday 14th and not on Wednesday 15th February.

The Academic achievments section in the School Life menu has been updated with the May 2011 SEC results and with the Form 5 2010-2011 students' post-secondary destinations.
Lectio divina to be held on Sunday 13th November will be held at the Junior Oratory in Sliema, Albert Bugeja Hall, from 09.00 till 10.30.
Regretfully in the list of dates sent with the circular there was a slight error in the Mid-Term holidays dates. The correct dates are Tuesday 1st, Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd November. This means that next week we will have school only on Monday 31st October and Friday 4th November. We excuse ourselves for any inconvenience caused.
